Our Onboard Charger is presently IP67 rated; as such, the cable comes pre-integrated. We are aware of such concerns once the product is released to customers. It is one of the reasons why we've taken so long to ship. Designing, engineering and now making it mass-manufacturable is no joke. The amount of work needed to make this a winner is not trivial. Nearly all other competitors in Indonesia white-label entirely or outsource their engineering to ODM partners, and are less otaku than we are about our customers' delight.
Surabaya is definitely on the cards as Indonesia's 2nd biggest city, though not quite yet.
I love the idea of on-board charging! But is it going to be easy to replace the cable when something unfortunate happen to it?
And when are you going to open dealership in other cities? Maybe Surabaya? 🙂
